Jesus said to the crowds:
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh for the life of the world.”

The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying,
“How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”
Jesus said to them,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood,
you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
has eternal life,
and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food,
and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so also the one who feeds on me
will have life because of me.

Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died,

What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas  

Opposite with Mass

Mass, from Latin Ite Missa Est, means dismissal

We gathered here to be strengthened, nourished and dismissed

Dismissed to what?

Dismissed to take this life we receive here

Living God, His Love, his humbleness, his forgiveness, his mercy,

His presence, his attention,

We are dismissed to take God with us outside and change the world

What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas

But What Happens in the Church doesn’t stay in the Church. Cannot stayinthe church

 

If I’m  receiving Jesus for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 years and nothing changes in my life

No progress, that same sins for last 60 years, then something is wrong

Why?

Because God gives himself, give us his life so we will have courage to die to ourselves, to the old men,

So we will have courage to fight with our sinfulness. Not just play, try, attempt, but fight.

If you are already seriously fighting with sin in your life, with egoism, addiction, weakness and nothingness of sin

It is because of life in you that you receive in Eucharist

As gasoline is fuel for car so Eucharist is fuel for us, for our spiritual life, supernatural life.

 

There was Eucharistic miracle in Mexico few year ago,

A small piece of Eucharist was picked up from the floor after communion and put in to special vessel that is at tabernacle to be dissolved

 

What happened was that this small piece of Eucharist began to bleed and grow in to small piece of body

With the permission of Bishop

This now bleeding Host  was taken to the special specialist : )  who can tell you a lot about you from few drops of your blood

The doctor didn’t know that it came from the bleeding host

 

What did he said was that blood, because there are special cells there, comes from living organism, living human being. Not somebody already dead but living.

 

More, the part of body that grew from that host is part of the heart muscle responsible for beating of that heart

 

And more, the structure and consistence of that blood shows also that that men is under big pain, oppression, kind of under extreme conditions

Kind of Jesus Christ dying for us on the cross

 

And What Jesus says:

I am the living bread.. the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.

21 century science can approve it. Yes Jesus, you are right. This is true.

But the choice is still mine.

I may agree or not to be dismissed at the end of Mass to take God with me outside and change the world, fallow him, love more, live more, live better,

Or not. It is still my and your choice.

What choice do you make? What is your decision, your resolve?
