Where are you in your life’s journey right now?
Are you happy now? Or perhaps you plan to be happy in the next 3 months? 3 years? Or, maybe after you accomplish something important?
After you change yourself enough to start being happy?
The apostles asked for more faith. How did Jesus respond?
They didn’t need more. What they have is enough. They need to start using it.
It is the same with us.
Some of us have very strong faith and some have many doubts.
The point is, you have as much faith as you need. It’s enough to live, serve, love.
It’s an illusion to wait for a better time in your life.
Wherever am I now, is the best place I can be… or you can say,
…the present moment is as perfect as it can be.
I may have a thousand times less faith than my neighbor. It doesn’t matter.
God gives me as much as I need. Why? Because He knows me.
God knows my needs and gives me enough grace. Even if it appears that He has abandoned me, it’s not true.
Rather, it is I who abandoned Him.
Some of us talk a lot about the beautiful days of the past, and that now everything has changed and will never be that same.
Same of us live our lives waiting for future: when we become better people; when we do not sin as much; when we are finished with some projects; and after all that we will become happier people.
This is an illusion. Now is the time to live my life. Now is the time to suffer or be happy. Not later and not in the past.
Now is the time and I have enough faith to live my life.
Now is as perfect a time as it can be. Not tomorrow. Not yesterday. Jesus wants us to start living our lives- now.
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
The Lord replied,”If you have faith the size of a mustard seed,
you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’
and it would obey you. Luke 17: 5-6
